Although Doherty Drive was scheduled to open on Nov. 30, Larkspur residents got a nice surprise when construction ended almost a month earlier than originally planned.
A small ceremony marked the official opening of the road, as Larkspur Director of Public Works Hamid Shamsapour cut the ribbon before the first cars rolled onto the newly paved road.
