On Tuesday, April 22, the boys’ varsity baseball team fell short, 6-3, despite fighting hard against Tamalpais High School (Tam). Redwood had a slow start to the game, giving up two runs in the top of the first, but junior Jack Moseley gave the team a boost with a single in the first inning. Although the Giants struggled to get consistent hits, senior Sam Gersch hit a double in the third inning, allowing two runs to score and bringing the score to 4-2, Tam. Redwood struggled most with the significant number of errors, finishing the game with a total of three. Regardless of the loss, the Giants maintained high spirits and supported each other the whole way through. The team radiated energy that showed how eager they were to win, and the rivalry continues.
