The crowd was a sea of red and white Friday night, when the girls’ varsity volleyball team defeated Drake 3-0.

Winning the first match 25-9, the team was able to bring home the win in front of a large audience.

“The fan support has meant a lot this season,” coach Katie Pease said.

After sitting out the past few games, junior Bailey Osborn made her return to the court.

“I couldn’t wait to start practicing yesterday,” she said. “Today there was great energy and it was so fun.”

The team now has a 23-1 record and have a tournament this Saturday.

A limited number of spectators received red and white pom-poms upon entrance to the game.
