The girls’ powerful serves and strong bump passes helped the team to maintain a lead through much of the game. Redwood was victorious with respective scores of 25-15 and 25-15 in the first two matches, making a third match unnecessary.

Redwood set itself up for success by scoring the first three points of the game, but Branson fought back and quickly tied the score at 3-3.

Branson was unable to return a series of impressive serves from freshman Lauren Conrow, breaking the tie during the first match, and the Redwood girls kept the lead.

The Giants utilized more than just powerful serves to defeat the Bulls. Precise bump passes and spikes also helped to secure the win.

Freshman McKenna McGonigle added several important serves, which contributed to the winning effort.

With the win, Redwood ended their season with a 10-1 record.
