The game was characterized by aggressive forward play by junior Neeve Kennedy along with seniors Kendra Loo and Kaylee Bushell that brought a goal within reach.

An occasional counterattack out of the Marin Catholic defense sparked a back and forth play, allowing Bushell to demonstrate her excellent ball handling.

The Redwood offense came close to scoring toward the end of the second half, but the clock finally caught up with them.

The team will host their next game against San Francisco University High School on Friday, Sept. 11 at 4:30 p.m.
