“My junior year I began receiving offers from smaller schools, but when I got an offer to play at University of Arizona, it was the happiest moment of my life. At that point I knew that I was going to play Division I football,” Kosinski said.

Coming in at 6’4” and 280 lbs, Kosinski’s sheer size combined with his talent and dedication has made him a force to be reckoned with on the field.

In his football career, Kosinski earned  acknowledgements ranging from a  coaches award his freshman year, to a spot on the All SF Metro 2nd team.

Kosinski also earned a spot on the MCAL first team offensive and defensive line his junior and senior years, offensive player of the year award his sophomore year, and the Redwood Football MVP award his senior year.

Despite a lackluster 3-4 record at the end of the MCAL season, Kosinski says the highlight of his senior season, and all his four years playing, was when he led the team to their climactic win against Tam in November.

“Beating Tam at their homecoming game was probably the most memorable event in all my four years playing for Redwood,” Kosinski said. “We had lost by a touchdown two years in row and finally beating them by a touchdown (33-27) meant everything to us.”

Kosinski has graduated from humble high school rivalries to the Pac12 conference, leaving  behind an enormous impact on the football program.
