The boys’ varsity volleyball team defeated El Molino in three straight games Thursday night in their final league match, finishing the regular season with a record of 10-2.

The Giants won the first game by a score of 25-15. However, in the next two games, the Lions stepped up their level of play and maintained a competitive score. The lead alternated between the teams in both games, but Redwood ultimately triumphed.

The Lions forced the second game past 25 points—the final score was 27-25. The Giants claimed the third and final game with another close score of 25-23.

The Giants will play in the semifinals against El Molino next Wednesday at home at 7 p.m. If Redwood wins, they will play the winner of the other semifinal match between Marin Catholic and Drake.

The MCAL championship game will be played at College of Marin on May 8 at 7 p.m.
