Girls Varsity lacrosse triumphed over Drake with a score of 16-1 at home this past Thursday.

Redwood played stellar defense, holding Drake to only one goal, which was scored near the end of the game.

Senior goalie Christine Cook saved all but one of the few shots that were fired, with the help of the defensive line, led by junior Carli Jacks.

On the opposite side of the field, sophomore Neeve Kennedy and junior Hayden Dean scored 4 goals apiece.

The team is hoping to improve their 5-3 record when they play Marin Catholic on Thursday, March 26, at home.
