The girls’ varsity water polo team lost 8-1 to Tam on Thursday, Oct. 30 in the first round of MCAL playoffs.

Ranked sixth in the MCAL league and missing two starters due to illness, Redwood was outpaced by Tam, who was ranked third in the league.

Junior Katie Isaacson scored Redwood’s only goal halfway through the third quarter.

The Red-tailed Hawks landed two points in the first quarter, a third point in the second quarter, three more in the third, and two goals in the fourth quarter.

This was the last MCAL game for the Giants this year, and it has not yet been announced if they qualified for NCS.
