Girls’ varsity volleyball suffers in the second matchup against rival Branson

After the loss of three consecutive games, Branson defeated Redwood girls’ varsity volleyball team with a score of 25-19 in the final game.

On Tuesday, Oct. 28, Redwood faced their rival team, Branson, for their second match against each other this MCAL season.

The first game ended with a score of 27-25 and the second game 25-20. Branson took the lead in each.

Branson holds the number one spot in division rankings with a league record of 13 wins and zero losses. Redwood is ranked second in the division with 11 wins and two losses.

Redwood will play their next game this Thursday, Oct. 30, against San Marin at San Marin High School.
