Junior varsity athletes celebrate a successful play.

The girls’ junior varsity volleyball team spiked a win against Drake on Friday, Oct. 10, during a home game.

The junior varsity girls continued the winning streak set by the freshmen that night by defeating Drake in the first two games.

The girls came out strong the first game with a win of 25-13, led by sophomore Neeve Kennedy’s serves.

The Giants struggled to keep a lead during the second game. Minor mistakes cost them points, and halfway through the game, the score was close at 16-15.

The team then subbed in some valuable players that ultimately earned them the the 25-20 win.

The Giants hope to continue their undefeated title at their next league game against San Rafael High School on Oct. 15 at home.
