Seniors Brooks Roenisch and Gabby Manuela were named Homecoming King and Queen during the Homecoming football game this afternoon.

Students voted for king and queen in their homeroom classes on Friday morning. The votes were tallied and announced at halftime during the Homecoming football game on Saturday, Oct. 11.

Manuela said that she did not expect the win.

“The first thing that went through my head was, ‘No way,’” she said.

Roenisch said that he too was completely shocked.

“I wasn’t expecting it, so surprise, just sheer surprise,” he said.

In addition to Manuela and Roenisch, the court consisted of Maddy Kragh and Giorgio Cico, Aaron Dorfler and Danielle McCauley, Kismet Kumar and Jacob Zazzeron, Bailey Osborn and Joe Matthews, and Megan Rios and LaRon Bullock.
