Link Crew organizes an orientation for 450 new students

While most students were squeezing the last drops of fun from summer, the incoming freshman and transfer students were already roaming the halls, familiarizing themselves with what’s to come on the 20th.

Orientation Day gathered the 450-strong freshman class and transfer students in the big gym with food and, with the help of the Link Crew leaders, introduced the staff and the campus to the new students.

Jacob Kucera, incoming freshman said, “I was pretty excited coming in. I didn’t really know anyone here because I went to Marin Horizon school, so I was a little shy at first but the

The Link Crew, advised by Eric Berkowitz and Katie Slattery, worked throughout last year’s spring semester and summer to organize Orientation Day.

Caroline Watkins, incoming freshman said, “It was overwhelming at first but I’m really excited to come here after orientation.”
