From grunge to hip-hop to skater to goth, the ‘90s was filled with many different fashion trends.

In the beginning of the ‘90s, fluorescent colors such as green, blue, orange, pink and yellow, were popular among teens, but they were shortly replaced with colors like coral, hot pink and turquoise.
Spandex tights in neon colors were worn often but they too faded out of style and were replaced by cotton tights.
On the other side of the spectrum, the hip-hop style evolved as rap became more popular. During this era, boys wore baseball or basketball jerseys with their baseball caps backwards and baggy pants.
In the background was the less popular goth lifestyle. This group typically dressed in all black, wore skater shoes, and dyed their hair a bright color.

The last installment of ‘90s fashion was cargo pants, which were loose fitting casual slacks with large patch pockets on the thighs.
