Adam Rosenthal has dedicated his last four years to being the best he can at lacrosse, where he has acted as a leader and mentor for a number of teammates.
Apart from four years on varsity lacrosse, he has taken part in JV soccer and wrestling.
On the lacrosse team, Rosenthal held the position of captain both his junior and senior year.
Rosenthal sees himself as very fortunate, having never suffered from any major injuries or difficulties.
“People have faced many more challenges than I have playing their sports, so I am very lucky,” he said.
When he moved to California in fifth grade, Rosenthal continued to play his hometown sport of ice hockey. However when the Berkeley rink was shut down he found himself looking for a new sport, which brought him to lacrosse.
Rosenthal has also chosen to take an alternate path and attend Northfield Mount Hermon, a boarding school in Massachusetts, rather than go straight to college.
He says he plans to play on the boarding school’s lacrosse team in order to keep up with the sport, and hopefully be recruited for college.
Rosenthal recently won the Scholar Athlete Award for maintaining a 3.5 G.P.A throughout the lacrosse season.
Rosenthal says he is proud to say he has no regrets and looks forward to where lacrosse will take him in the future. He has no doubt it will always remain a huge part of his life.
