Kicking off the school year with pushing, shoving, singing and laughter is a Redwood tradition that never disappoints the new and returning student body.

During the evening of Friday Aug. 25, masses of freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors filled the quad. Although the dance floor was even more cramped than last year, due to the biggest freshman class since the 1970s, Redwood’s spirit and enthusiasm persevered resulting in another exhilarating Back to School Dance (BTSD).
