Boys’ freshman basketball annihilates De Anza

After beating De Anza High School with a score of 97-32, the boys’ freshman basketball team remains undefeated with a record of 7-0 in the preseason.

Landon Gregg led the team with 23 points, followed by Drew Jacks with 19. Jacks went three-for-three for three pointers, and point guard Josh Cohen had seven assists and eight steals.

The Giants controlled the whole game, leading by 33 at halftime. The closest score was at the end of the first quarter, when De Anza was 18 points behind at a score of 30-12.

By the middle of the third quarter, the Giants led by 51 points.De Anza only had one sub the whole game, while everyone on the Giants played.

The Giants’ next game is next Saturday, Dec. 20 at University at 3 p.m.
