The annual senior versus staff Turkey Bowl flag football game was rained out for the second consecutive day and forced to relocate to the gym for dodgeball today at lunch.

The seniors swept the staff 3-0. The first game passed quickly with an impressive final catch by senior Kevin Reis to secure the win.

The staff came out strong in the second game, but the seniors battled back by catching balls and decreasing the staff’s numbers until five seniors were left facing the staff’s sole survivor, social studies teacher Jon Hirsch.

After several minutes of dodging, weaving, and throwing, Hirsch shrunk down the seniors until he was left with a one-on-one matchup against senior Matt Tracy.

Tracy, after intense back and forth, fired a long, quick shot at Hirsch, producing the necessary second win for the seniors.

Since it was a best of three tournament, game three was only played for fun and ended with an easy triumph for the seniors.
