On Friday, Aug. 22, the boys’ varsity soccer team tied in a scrimmage with San Francisco University High School.

Redwood took the lead in the beginning of the game with two goals scored by junior Julian Ulrich and senior Teymour Sadrieh.

Forty minutes into the game, University powered through Redwood’s defense and scored three points. However, Redwood fought back and scored the final goal, tying the game 3-3.

Redwood’s first game of the season will be a home game on Wednesday afternoon against Marin Academy.
